Barnard's Loop - a large, diffuse nebula around the constellation of Orion that is seen only with careful, "big picture" study of the skies above. I have a modest 10" scope and more interest than real skill or time, but I am going to do more (yes, dear!). This will be my repository of cool things astronomical to see - especially those that benefit from long, wide staring at the skies.
